Facilities
Network Operations Center
Our Network Operations Center (NOC) is the central nervous system of our data
facility, a limited-access room with automated systems constantly
monitoring server activity, Web traffic, and network performance.
These utilities alert our engineers to minute variations in
performance well before a system failure occurs - so we can
repair, reboot or reroute to backup systems without any impact
on your applications performance.
COLO Facility
Should a more serious problem threaten to interrupt service, our systems are capable of
instantaneously redirecting traffic or activating backup systems. Our Uninterruptible Power
Supply (UPS) system monitors and regulates the external power feeds to our facility. It
acts as a buffer, protecting our servers from power dips and surges, and draws power from
our batteries - and, if necessary, our diesel generators - the moment a feed is interrupted.
Even our backup systems have backup systems: our facility draws electricity from two independent
power grids, and most of our systems are equipped with dual power supplies.
